So I don’t go without sin while I’m preaching off one/
The drama is dead in the past and I mean it’s all done/
Walked away from that path, now I mean it’s all love/
Now I try show guidance to the youth in need/
Don’t praise false idols who you believe/
Are the hardest cuz they’re some ruthless G’s/
Only bums spend their days roaming and cruising streets/
Life is much more precious than you think it is/
But you’re targeted because of the way you think as kids/
If edgy and flashy are the things they did/
The demographic is snagged in, yet you think you’re with/
The wave against the grain, that rebellious stage/
Little did you know you’ve clicked right into place/
Don’t mistake this for a sermon in the name of God/
No religious undertones for I don’t praise in God/
It’s about the choices you make for the sake of y’all/
I’m aligned with the youth in this place so flawed/
There’s no hidden agenda, no games and pawns/
I wanna see you succeed with ambitions strong/
I’ll be right by your side when things go bad at home/
Don’t let the predisposition constrict your lungs/
No sign language needed to represent at all/
Breathe deep and be proud of the place called home...
